Who we are

BollyMoves Dance Academy is a dance studio. This policy explains what information we collect from the families who enroll with us, why we collect it, and what we do — and do not do — with it. We have written it in plain language on purpose.

What we collect

When you register a dancer with the studio, we collect:

The parent or guardian's name, and the dancer's name
The dancer's date of birth, so we can place them in the right class
Your mailing address
Your email address
Your phone number

We also keep the ordinary records that come with being enrolled: which classes a dancer is in, attendance, tuition and payment history, and messages between you and the studio.

Why we collect it

We use this information to run the studio and nothing else. That means managing enrollment and class placement, tracking attendance, billing and recording tuition payments, and communicating with you about your dancer — schedules, closures, recitals, and account questions.

How we use your phone number

Your phone number is used to send you studio text messages: tuition reminders, class schedule changes and closures, and studio updates. It is also how the studio admin can reach you directly.

We never sell your phone number. We never rent or trade it. We never share it with third parties for their own purposes, and we never use it for marketing.

The only outside parties who ever see your information are the service providers who actually deliver our messages on our behalf — our SMS provider (Twilio) and our email provider. They are permitted to use it only to deliver those messages for us, and for nothing else. No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Stopping text messages

You can stop studio texts at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. We will not text you again after that. If you need help, reply HELP to any message, or contact the studio directly using the details below.

Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies — most families receive about 4 messages per month. Full details are in our SMS Terms.

Keeping or deleting your information

We keep your information for as long as your family is enrolled, and for a reasonable period afterward for our own records — for example, past tuition history.

You can ask us to delete your information at any time. Email Kruti818@hotmail.com or call (855) 450-8274 and tell us what you would like removed. We will confirm once it is done. If we have to keep something for a legal or accounting reason, we will tell you what and why.

Children's information

Because we teach children, we hold dancers' names and dates of birth. That information is provided by a parent or guardian at registration, is visible only to studio staff, and is used only to run classes. We do not market to children and we do not share their information.
