How families opt in to SMS

When a parent or adult student enrolls at BollyMoves Dance Academy, they provide their mobile phone number on our registration form and agree to receive text messages from us related to their child’s participation at the studio. By providing your phone number to BollyMoves at registration, you consent to receive SMS messages from us at that number.

Parents and adult students can also opt in directly by texting the keyword JOIN to our studio number, (855) 450-8274.

What we use SMS for

Monthly tuition payment reminders
Class schedule changes and studio closure notifications
Announcements about upcoming events, recitals, and performances
Two-way communication between the studio admin and parents

We never send marketing or promotional messages to anyone who is not already an enrolled family or adult student at the studio.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies. Most families receive fewer than 4 messages per month. Frequency is higher around recital season or studio closures.

Costs

Message and data rates may apply. BollyMoves does not charge you to receive these messages, but your wireless carrier’s standard rates apply.

Opting out and getting help

You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message from us. After you reply STOP we will not send you further SMS messages.

Privacy

Phone numbers and message content are used only to operate the studio and communicate with you about your enrollment. We do not sell, rent, or share your phone number or other personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes. Information is shared only with our SMS service provider (Twilio) for the sole purpose of delivering these messages.
